Supernatural: Woman of Letters

If you believed the promo monkeys on this episode, then you would have thought it was all about Charlie and Dean fighting their way out of some video game. Silly promo monkeys! That was just a small part of “Pac Man Fever”.

I bet you thought I was gonna do one with Dean in that uniform, didn't you?

I bet you thought I was gonna do one with Dean in that uniform, didn’t you?

Quite frankly, there wasn’t much to this episode. Basically, we have the Winchesters introducing Charlie to their secret batcave, her helping them gank a Jin and her son, and a little background on Charlie. Oh yeah, and Sammy is looking TERRIBLE after having his ass kicked by the  two trials. He can barely hold a gun, let alone hit the target.

Oh look! The batcave has a shooting range. Of course it does. This place is starting to resemble the TARDIS in the most delightful (to me) way.

Quotes!

Dean: “You mean we can make or receive calls and no one can track us? Man, I love this place.”

Charlie: “Holy awesome. Too bad they got wiped out. Though, that is what they get for such a sexist name.”

Sam: “We need to find every copy of those books and burn them.”  Charlie: “They’re online now, so good luck with that.”

Dean: “If you’re gonna do a ride-along, you gotta lose the novelty t-shirts.” (Cue: montage!)

Dean: “What did you hack into?”  Charlie: “Uh. NORAD.”  Dean: “Whatever Wargames.”

Charlie: “Cool. Wait, you stole my car?”

Sam: “I hate that thing. I want one.”

Charlie: “I love you.”  Dean: “I know.” (Me: “Awwwww…”)

Sam: “Okay look, you were right. I shoulda laid low, but I am glad I was able…”  *HUGS*  Dean: “Whadya say we find our prophet.” (Me: “Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!”)

So, we are right near the end of the season and we get an episode that doesn’t really have anything to do with the arc of the season. It does, however, feed into my theory that the Winchesters are assembling a group of younger hunters a la the Super Friends, and Sam and Dean are going to be the Men of Letters elders next season. Fine with me, I like pretty much all of the kiddos we’ve met in the past season or so. I am also guessing we are gonna see some of these newbies in the last two episodes of this season.

Next: Crowley and shenanigans! And Sammy looks really, really, REALLY awful. Yikes.
