Good news Castiel fans! Seems as though our sweet little angel has reacquired his series regular status for season 9! Oh yeah, Supernatural will be back for a 9th season (announced February 11th).

Not only will we be seeing much more of Cas next season, Misha Collins will also be directing an episode, a la Jensen Ackles. Yippee! So, while Castiel’s story has been a bit of a side burner this season, I am guessing that we will really get into this angel mind control thing by the end of the season, so we have something fun to jump into next season. Looking forward to it.
