I'm going to go with Dean on this one--change a few key details and maybe you really can change the future. Last night was one of the more haunting and disturbing episodes of SPN that I can remember. I haven't been able to get the image of Dean's neck breaking under Sam/Lucifer's bright white shoe out of my mind all day. And you're absolutely right, it's better for all of us when the Winchester boys are working together. I've seen the Lucifer in white thing done before (Jason Lee in 'Dogma' for example), but I agree that Jared did a good job eliminating Sam from that performance. And Jensen playing off himself, which has got to be really hard. I love where this show is headed!! I’m just glad the boys are back together. Most shows recently haven't really dared go the route Supernatural has. As for the timeline, I think it might play out sort of like Heroes has - even though the future was "stopped" it's very much heading back in the same direction.
