Really? I watched most of the first season already and liked it well enough. Not as much as Dr. Who, and I agree that he’s totally the best modern companion and would be happy just having him on Dr. Who every week, frankly…. But I just enjoy watching him… lol…

Looking forward to this too. I’ve caught a few episodes of Torchwood, and I suspect you’ll be disappointed. I wanted to like this series but it really falls short. Captain Jack is easily the best companion in the modern Who. In the shows I’ve seen, he just can’t carry the show surrounding by a lackluster supporting cast. Captain Jack is best playing off a straight man – not as The Man.
