I did think the pace was good. And I did think it was good that Tony wasn’t Evilly Evil, though I wish they hadn’t made him CrazyEvil.

I am very much looking forward to Season 8 and as much as I love the show, I’m kind of glad it’ll be the last, because I couldn’t bear another Season 6.

I love that you referenced Pretender… Kim actually was pretty kick-ass (for Kim), and I am happy that Tony wasn’t evilly evil, but CrazyEvil. It somehow makes things almost okay (and Tony was super hot while being evil, I can’t help myself). I am so proud of the writers being able to completely recover from season 6, and not give in to the ridiculous-even-for-24 temptation of curing Jack before the end of the season. We know he will be okay, but he technically wasn’t at the end. Well done, 24 writers. I even liked the Iman visiting him in the hospital. I am easy, I suppose.

Looking forward to 24 in NYC, the city I love. Here’s hoping that Jack and Renee ar all smoochy and cute while kicking bad guys butts, and that neither of them die in the city so nice, they named it twice!

I think you pretty much nailed it. Although when Kim uttered that oh-so-clearly-spoken “D-bomb”, it did make me laugh, thinkin’ ’bout all the dorm guys and gals taking a swig … wonder if there were many outtakes from that moment in particular…?

Last 3 hours of the show, especially, were some of the season’s best, hands down (IMHO); made me think of the pace/speed of “Day 1″ .. maybe ’cause i’m Canadian, i wish Colm Fore could have been featured more (although perhaps more next year); and, more Chloe for that matter.

The way Renee was written, esp. in the latter hours as she was clearly coming to terms with her professional choices, makes me think that maybe, just maybe, after 8 yrs, Jack could pass the torch to her … hmmm ?
